The story is relatively simple.  Two brothers, Roland and Archibald, are in line for the throne.  Roland is pure and good.  Archibald is conniving and evil.  Archibald has Roland exiled from the kingdom and is named king by default.  You then choose, do you work for King Archibald, or do you work alongside Roland, the rightful heir and the beacon of hope and goodness in the kingdom?  Depending on which side you choose, you then complete a series of scenarios (not unlike most classic RTS’) to achieve greatness for your chosen son.
