Ministry of Silly Games

“And now for something completely different”…as a new game The Ministry of Silly Games arrives on Facebook, created by the British gaming company Zattikka and in cooperation with the ingenious Monty Python comedy team, The Ministry of Silly Games.
The game is something that is completely different to other games on Facebook, and is a series of mini-games, of which fans of Monty Python will surely adore. The Ministry of Silly Games, named after a sketch in the popular British television series, will feature “the world’s most ridiculous games” in a Monty Python inspired setting.
The game features many of the television series’ characters, and a favourite of most, Mr Creosote will make his appearance in the mini game “one-button reaction game”, in which players must feed him everything but wafer thin mints. Fans of the series will know what happens when just one of these touches his lips! Have you ever wondered what it would be like to fling livestock at a French fortress? Of course you have! For those wanting to find out, you can now, by playing in the hugely fun and entertaining Camelot Smashalot game. It follows a format similar to Angry Birds, with players tossing pigs, hens, cow and bombs at castles, and even Trojan rabbits, from the classic scene in The Holy Grail.
A member of the Monty Python team, Terry Jones, says “The Ministry of Silly Games brings Monty Python characters and scenes to life like never before. For years, people have wondered what it would be like to catapult livestock at French fortresses, or play Russian Roulette with an Upper Class Twit. Well now they finally can, thanks to The Ministry of Silly Games.”
The mini-games are of a light hearted nature, and easy to get into and follow. For those wanting a quick fun game, with some light comedy thrown in, The Ministry of Silly Games would be perfect for them. Fans of Monty Python and will love this for sure. While the game style is nothing new, the infusion of the television characters should bring a whole different feel to this game.
The Ministry of Silly Games kicks off on Facebook in early 2011, and for those wanting to become a beta tester, you can now apply on the official website at http://www.ministryofsillygames.com/. For those who want to experience Monty Python’s released facebook game wheelers and dealers
